Returnity @ a US tech firm

100% of returners said the coaching helped them feel more supported and valued. 97% said it changed how they were thinking about their role, longer term.

The brief

that spark was approached by a global tech firm's San Francisco office to support a People campaign for their company's internal Hack Week. A team of US employees was working on how to improve talent support and return-to-work policies - and wanted a parental coaching programme they could pilot, plus themed feedback they could feed into future people strategy.

What we did

We designed Returnity - a phased 1:1 and group coaching programme for employees returning from parental leave including adoption leave.

Sessions covered stress and resilience, the change cycle, performance worries, work/life boundaries, and limiting beliefs.

The results

  • 100% of participants said the coaching helped them feel more supported and valued

  • 97% said they were thinking more long-term about their role as a result

  • Theme summaries were fed directly into the client's people strategy

  • The programme won the Inclusion & Diversity category at Hack Week - and was signed off by the Global People Officer, who agreed to roll it out long-term.
